Handtooled Metal Newfoundland Dory Ornament

Inspired by a traditional fishing boat used from the 1850s on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. This handcrafted ornament captures a "Grand Banks" or as many often call it, Newfoundland Dory which are still used to this day and can be seen in coastal communities throughout Newfoundland. The metallic sheen captures light beautifully, and adds a unique touch to your holiday tree. A perfect gift for the nature or ocean lover!

Each of our metal holiday ornaments are hand-tooled from galvanized sheet metal with our custom handmade tools. Once tooling is complete, each piece is sanded to bring out the details and clear coated to protect the finish. The combination of hand tooling and sanding makes each piece truly one of a kind.
